New Collaboration between RCS Haven and leading Russian University

As part of our Centre’s commitment to researching and improving current methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, we are pleased to announce a major new collaboration with the Philological faculty at the State University of Nizhny Novgorod. The main feature of this partnership will be an annual 2-3 week exchange of a small number of students and academic staff from each institution, when participants will be able to compare techniques and methodologies for teaching both Russian and English to non-native speakers. During the four-year term of the agreement there will also be opportunities for knowledge to be gathered and shared in the form of conferences, seminars, and the joint undertaking of academic research on the subject. We will be releasing further details about this exciting collaboration in the weeks and months ahead, so watch this space!
