Police Scotland is currently recruiting Russian-speaking police officers

On 25th of February in Police Training and Recruitment Centre in East Kilbride there was a meeting between members of Police Scotland diversity recruiting team and a representative of Russian Centre in Scotland  Haven.
 
Police Scotland is currently recruiting both police officers and special constables into the organization.  Police Scotland is particularly keen to encourage applications from under-represented members from our communities. In their current recruitment campaign, they are looking to engage with potential applicants from all ethnic minorities and a variety of different backgrounds in an effort to be more representative of the diverse communities that they police.
 
Police delegates expressed their interest in relations between Police Scotland and the Russian-speaking community. Particularly, police representatives indicated their willingness to take part in events of the Russian-speaking community in order to build trustworthy relationship. Importantly, police representatives stressed that they are willing to encourage recruitment of Russian speakers.
 
Moreover, police delegates stressed their commitment to arrange information sessions regarding various aspects of law and order for the Russian-speaking community.
Police officers underlined that their doors are open and they are ready for co-operation.
 
The next candidate briefing session for the recruitment will be on Tuesday 22nd March 18.00-20.00 in Training and Recruitment Centre, Jackton, Eaglesham Road, East Kilbride G75 8GR0
