Chelsea College of Arts presents a collaborative exhibition «Re Re Re:», dedicated to the ideas of Hannah Arendt in her work «Vita activa, or the Human Condition». The name of the exhibition suggests the possibility of an open conversation between the participants having different points of view. The exhibition aims to point out the eternal potential hidden in the collective thinking. It invites guests to think of the vital need of the modern society in exchanging opinions to fight tyranny. Following the Russian Revolution, artists were torn between radical non-objectivity on the one hand, and a contempt for the bourgeois tradition of ‘easel painting’ on the other. Between these extremes, several artists pursued a quieter middle path. Kuzma Petrov-Vodkin was a case in point.
