Book Launch, John Coutts ‘Lines of a Lifetime’

A friend of RCS, John Coutts, is publishing a new poetry collection, including both his own work and several original translations of poems by Pushkin. He is holding a live reading and launch event for the book in Edinburgh on 5th December, at which all RCS Haven members will be welcome.

John Coutts is a poet, performer and author, who during a thirty-year career has written extensively for BBC Radio Scotland and published several books. He is also an accomplished translator with a passion for Russian classical poetry. His latest collection, ‘Lines of a Lifetime’ includes translations of selected poems by Alexander Pushkin, which have been praised by Dr Mikhail Roshchin of the Russian Academy of Sciences. All are welcome at the launch event for this book, where John will be reading some of his work aloud. ‘Lines of a Lifetime’ will be available to buy at the event, for the price of £10.00.
