Non-English & English-speaking volunteer actors needed

Ms K. Frimberger is looking for actors to volunteer in a series of short films about intercultural experiences of medical practice in Glasgow. 

No acting experience is required and she is looking for a wide variety of people of all backgrounds, between the ages of 20-70 with a particular interest in hearing from people who are fluent in another language or bilingual, as well as those who are native English speakers.

The films are being produced by a the AHRC/SFC funded Research Project 'Towards Ethical Health Care Translation' and filmed by a television production company. The films will be used as training tools for medical and interpreting staff as well as being shown in medical environments to the general public. Each participant will receive a DVD copy of the film.
 
Food and transport will be provided and there will be a £20 Amazon gift voucher as a small thank you for each participant.

She will require people for one day of rehearsal between the 12th-18th August between 9.30am-4pm and one day of filming between the 26th and 1st September between 9.30am-6pm.

Informal auditions are being held on the 5th-7th August from 9.00-6pm in room 450B (drama lab), University of Glasgow, St Andrews Building (11 Eldon Street, G3 6NH).
