On Sunday 27th March, head of Russian School of RCS Haven participated in the Third International Forum “Russian language overseas Russia”, which was organized by Eurolog-UK’s.   This initiative sponsored by Found Russkiy mir and FA Rossotrudnichestvo. The programme of forum included scientifically-practical seminars on an experience exchange of heads and teachers of Russian schools.    120 heads and teachers of the Russian-speaking educational Centres of Europe and America from 32 countries were delegates.

The Russian Language School ‘Enjoy Russian’ in Petrozavodsk, Karelia, offers a series of intensive, personalised Russian-language courses for students of all levels, lasting anywhere from two weeks up to three months.

Здравствуите!     Welcome to another new edition of the RCS Haven E-Bulletin. This month there are two important items of news that we would like to share with you. Firstly, there is a new exhibition on show in the gallery space at our Duke Street centre:

The Horizon Hotel in Ayr is the venue for a Russian-themed charity evening to celebrate International Women’s Day, all in aid of the Rotary International Polio Vaccine Programme. Guests will be served a three-course dinner with wine, and will be entertained by a genuine Russian choir and the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra. There will also be a raffle and a silent auction, both with luxury prizes including original paintings and Russian food hampers. All profits from tickets sales and the raffle/auction will be donated to the charity.

 Ð—дравствуите!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /??>   This is the February 2011 edition of the RCS Haven E-Bulletin. We hope that you had a restful and enjoyable January, particularly if you were celebrating the Orthodox Christmas and New Year.

 RCS Haven continues its tradition of hosting art exhibitions which show works by artists of different generations which are united by the same idea of conservation of the Russian art heritage. This exposition includes works by the pupils of the art studio and the Russian school of RCS Haven. It's the second exhibition of pupils' works and it shows their progress. The middle generation is represented by the works of the artists who live in Glasgow but keep their connections with the Russian school of art.
